Cajetan Demers was my grandmother's brother

therefore my great uncle.

He was born 01 August 1876

in Ste-Anastasie-de-Lyster, Quebec, Canada.

He died  November 1936 in Lawerence, Massachusetts

at the age of 60 years and 3 months.

Born a Dumais, he took his mother's maiden name

of Demers and the family was always known thus.

His wife was Adele Massé Demers

was born January 1878 place unknown.

She died May 1959 in Lawrence, Massachusetts

at the age of  81 years 4 months.

Buried with them is the son

Philibert Joseph Adrien Demers

He was born 20 February 1905 in Lawrence, Massachusett

He died September 1968 at the age of 53 years 7 months.

Also in this grave is Phil's wife

Viola Lescarbeau who was born 1907

in Lawrence, Massachusetts and died

August 1961 at the age of 54.

My grandfather Etienne (Stephen) Levesque
died at the age of 81. My grandmother Arthemise Dumais died at the age of 88 in Lawrence, Ma

They both came to Massachusetts with their
parents.  My grandmother was sixteen and my
grandfather fifteen.

Cajetan was my grandmother Arthémise's brother. His mother was née Demers and he took her name rather than keeping the Dumais name.

Cajetan died at the age of 60. His wife wife Adèle Massé died at the age of 81.Buried with them are three of their children:

Loretta who died at age 19, Philibert at age 63, Viola Lescarbeau Demers
at age 65. She was the spouse of Gerard Demers.
